Pat fordy has put out a realignment scenario which has us with uva,va tech,unc,duke,nc state,wake,app st,east carolina,charlotte,south carolina,Clemson this realignment idea is getting a lot of play.what do you guys think of this?

Sounds good. Sadly I'm sure Dr. Jarrett will pull a sweater on, tie Wood and J-Brod/New Prez up, seize power, and have us hold out for an Eastern Eight invite because he does not see the potential in this conference.

Lol. Biggest screw up in ODU sports history was not joining the Big East. Not starting football n the 80s is up there as is not joining the A10 I n the 90s.

Just read the article. It nearly perfectly sums up the current situation and would be a fantastic solution for college sports. So it has zero chance of happening.

hmmm no VCU, no JMU, no Liberty, no trips to UTEP and UTSA
longest drive is 7 hours to Clemson

no this way this happens, we would struggle to be .500 in every sport

but no Rodney Rams, no Pukes and no Flamers has such appeal

This makes so much sense it is crazy and becasue of that is will never happen. The world of college athletics has not and will never make sense or be logically aligned unless the NCAA gets out of the P5's pocket

Only for the first few years. Give us a couple years to catch up and equal money and we’d be right in the thick of things.
