Still waiting on a liberal to join conservatives on any decision.

None of it would help. The people that you would hope would benefit from said services don’t care. The women nor their partners believe in birth control. Keep in mind that birth control options have become more prevalent since 1980 yet the abortion rates have increased.

Would you say the same thing if the ruling had been 5-4 the other way?

Yep. I didn’t like the decision in Burwell vs Hobby Lobby but they voted based on legal interpretation not politics.

Okay. Let's give it a day or so and see what it really means.

How many doctors are going to perform abortions without hospital access. Can you even imagine the medical insurance the doctors will have to pay, esp in LA.

Quote:WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court ruled Monday that Louisiana's tough restriction on abortion violates the Constitution, a surprising victory for abortion rights advocates from an increasingly conservative court.

The 5-4 decision in which Chief Justice John Roberts joined with the courts liberal justices struck down a law passed by Louisiana's legislature in 2014 that required any doctor offering abortion services to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles. Its enforcement had been blocked by a protracted legal battle.

Two Louisiana doctors and a medical clinic sued to get the law overturned. They said it would leave only one doctor at a single clinic to provide services for nearly 10,000 women who seek abortions in the state each year.

Supreme Court, in 5-4 ruling, strikes down restrictive Louisiana abortion law

In Texas something like 75% of the abortion clinics were going to have to close with their law.

Roberts is compromised. He is in Jeffrey Epstein's flight logs. That means he likely has compromising videos somewhere.

As if what is going on in our streets isn’t hateful enough, liberals are celebrating being able to kill the most vulnerable of us. Maybe they would support “Babies Lives Matter”. Sad days indeed

Just an FYI...

The right, i.e. conservatives, try to ensure that abortion clinics and other agencies do just that, but the left files lawsuit after lawsuit. Primarily because they don't want to do anything that cuts into:
1. their profit
2. their cult practice of child sacrifice

OK, I threw that 2nd one in there. I think it stands, but they would probably rephrase it to sanitize it.

And for once, I am in total agreement. Except I can't see PP agreeing to work with the right, or frankly doing anything to support those goals, but the right can do all those things without them.

My question to conservatives has always been, is this really the hill you want to die on? Because the longer you fight this battle head on, the more you are going to die.

'The right' isn't one thing.
Catholics would not support birth control. They'd support abstinence and other such things that Planned Parenthood would not. That's pretty much a non-starter for both groups. Many others wouldn't support 'parental education' for say a 12 year old.

Abortion is one of the tools of PP... and while I don't think the majority of them support its abuse, I know a meaningful number of them absolutely do. 'Do whatever you want' and if you get pregnant, have an abortion.

How about instead we empower women to tell 'their man' (who apparently isn't really one) who won't wear a condom because it dampens his enjoyment to hit the bricks?

Totally understand that, but the Catholics should realize that they aren't going to be very successful with the un-churched masses...and the non-Catholics...in pushing this agenda on them.

To me, a little compromise...along with showing the true love of Jesus...would be a far greater tool to stopping abortions than dying on a hill they're never going to fully take.

This would fall under the education part. But you can't refuse to go to the place where the need is (planned parenthood) and expect to successful. Hence why Jesus if alive today would be in such places doing that very thing!

The increase of female OB/GYN's and their desire not to perform abortions is the real choke point moving forward at this point. I expect to see legislation at some point to try and force OB's to perform abortions under the position of maintaining access.

Because they don't like condoms either or no that if they push the issue there is another woman out there who won't. At this point expecting women to managing birth control is a dead dream.
