Really? I remember when it was announced it being touted as way, way better than what Nike was doing for us.

Edit: Apparently UA paid us nearly $400k per year while Nike only gave out $61k. Thats a huge difference, and sadly $400,000 is not chump change to ODU like it is many schools.

I thought the deal w/UA was arms-length and we had previously undersold ourselves to Nike to wear their brand. UA has gotten a return on their investment from my perspective.

Winning sure does make a uniform look a lot better. But I like these, they’re a clean kit that will age well over time. Not all programs can say that.

Agreed... 27 WS titles makes Yankee pinstipes very exciting to their fans... and Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State, among others, still hold onto the same boring look...;-)

I was really hoping for more risks with our uniforms. That didn’t happen. And while they didnt change much from the first year, they did change. We started with the auburn stripes on the jerseys and they’re gone. Pretty plain uniform kit now. I would imagine we are due new ones with the contract restarting. But Ricky, staff and the equipment manager could like this look and keep it.

I still think a Faux-back could be cool. Only bust it out for VT or UVA games. Maybe use it as a basis for Color Vs Color.

If there is a desire to work in light blue, but still be different from UNC

I was kinda pissed when I heard we were moving back to the chef's hat, but that's not too bad.

I'm one of the weirdos that like the negative-image we used on white helmets, though.
