Tailgate before the game (if you dont have tickets)
If I wanted to tailgate on campus before the game on Saturday and watch the game at a sports bar, what would you recommend?
Do they have tailgating locations near the stadium still.
I wouldn't mind stopping in Mecklenberg Gardens at some point also but i'm not even sure I recall seeing a television in there.
So what would a good bar to watch the game be that's close to campus?

There is an official tailgate right by the stadium. I go every home game, but I don't know the name of the space. They sell beer for $1 or $2, or BYOB. They have a big screen that plays games, a band/dj, and food trucks. That would be my suggestion. Costs $0 to get in. Also Inflatables for the kids.

The "Grid" tailgating is directly to the North of the stadium. They sell beer and food. Additionally, there are several tailgate groups that let you join them for a small fee. I usually hang out with the LucyGate group who lets you join them for drinks and food for $5 a person. The Republic of Cincinnati group is also very friendly and welcoming. I've been doing this all year because I was too late trying to purchase a tailgate spot. This is a very fun and friendly atmosphere. Lots of food, drinks and entertainment available.

Thanks guys!
This could be alot of fun. When they were in the Orange Bowl, I kind of remember the entertainment room on campus was open to watch the game. I could be wrong about that. I wonder if they are doing anything like that on Saturday.. in the former Tangeman Hall space?
