Let's wait until all the facts come out until we compare this to anything.

The facts about Benghazi took almost a month to come out. I withheld judgement then, and was greatly saddened to find out that I was wrong to trust the Obama administration.

The problem now is that both Trump and Trump's accusers have a large credibility gap with the general public. Fortunately for Trump, the burden of proof lies on NYT and the Democrats. And they've cried "wolf" way too many times for people in the middle to believe them before the facts come out.
