They don’t have a prayer of ever being anything more than D2.

IMHO all of the D2 schools in Ohio but Central St belong in D3.

Damn straight they do, Hiram needs a better selection of opponents, they can't beat the ones they have available.

And Mt Union needs some new and exotic Opponents to massacre. They’ve got to be getting tired of destroying the same 9 teams year in and year out. You can only beat Muskingum 70-0 so many times before it starts to get tiresome.

Ashland and Findlay are the larger private schools that can survive. The rest belongs in D3.

I only made a list for the likely targets for ASUN, MEAC qand so forth to pick from the healthier schools out there in D2.

Wouldnt that be a Title IX violation?

You would think so but apparently if you’re denying opportunities to men then no one cares.

Hard to have much in the way of men's sports with only 48 students.

Using the proportionality rule 7.7% of athletic scholarships should go to men.

Proportionality is not the only way to be in compliance with Title IX.

What sport can you give 3-4 men scholarships for?

What sport can you give 3-4 men scholarships for?

An equivalency sport where you can give a bunch of partials. Golf and tennis only get 4.5 scholarships so that'd be in their range. Plus they already have women's teams for those sports.

Prong 1: Proportionality
Definitely dont qualify for that one

Prong 2: Expansion - If a school has a history of having fewer programs and opportunities for the minority sex students, but they can show that they are working to expand their minority sex athletics programs, they might be seen as complying with Title IX.
Nope

Prong 3: Accommodating Interests - If the programs are not equal, and they are not currently being expanded to meet student interests, then a school can show they are complying with Title IX by showing that they already meet the interests of the students
I'm guessing this is what they use

Yeah, I don’t know anything about that school, but it would make sense they have surveyed the student body to gauge interest in men’s sports and it’s probably extremely low. I bet way lower than 7%.

He has realignment file cabinets all over his room, with storage in the attic for files pre-1950.
