Mohajir on SBC testing protocol
Wanted to share today's Terry Mohajir interview because he talks SBC testing protocol and I haven't really seen it discussed that much. The guideline for the league is one PCR test (the swab that tests for RNA of the virus) within 72 hours of competition, which is also what the NCAA recommends.

He starts talking about it around the 7:35 mark, and also talks Sun Belt schedule changes prior to that at 4:30.

I’m not really a fan of the idea of a school’s AD ascending to a commissioner job because of the possibility of bias but Mohajir would do an excellent job as sunbelt commissioner.

Agree...he's been a better advocate for the league on these Jonesboro Radio interviews than Karl Benson or Keith Gill in official capacity.

I think Mohajir would be a great commissioner.

Ark State people in the know....
Did he have any interest in this position when Karl was announcing his departure?

I would be surprised if the Sun Belt would out pay stAte enough for him to move. I think he makes 450,000 a year. I have no idea what Bigfoot makes so I could be wrong.

Karl Benson made $506,000 in 2013. No telling what he made by the time he retired.

If he's looking to build on his career, I could see him taking a bit of a raise to be an FBS conference commissioner.

South Alabama took their PCR test on Monday afternoon and another this morning. I think it was the USA administration's decision to add the additional tests on game week.

No You test the number of times required by the home teams conference. CUSA requires 2 tests in the week prior, so you took 2 tests

I'm sure you're correct about it being a home-team decision, but it's interesting that last week CUSA said they would be testing three times on game week. I haven't seen any indication that USM is going to hit that mark, either.

Didn't appear to. Working for 10 presidents and chancellors is a different experience.

I may not be “in the know”, but never heard any interest for it. He did toss his name in the hat for the Kansas and Missouri AD jobs when they were open.

He told me he never applied nor inquired about Mizzou.

I can believe that with all the craziness that was going on at Missouri at that time.

We’re doing same for Kansas State next week. I think we should buspool to save gas.
