Haven't listened to local sports radio in years and I am much happier because of it.

Haven't listed in awhile but happened to catch Edmiston yesterday spouting on about CV19.

Total waste of time.

I do not. The constant, inevitable, obligatory and sophomoric tiger baiting and Memphis program slander does not play to the better angels of my nature.

No need.

Step 1) Get down CNN echo chamber talking points

Step 2) Your done. Once these are memorized, repeat over and over and over and over

Step 3) Pick up your trophy for Mastering Virtue Signaling. You are now (in your mind) better than everyone else (everyone else is racist BTW) even though you are undoubtedly grossly uninformed on EVERY SINGLE topic and would get your ass handed to you in a debate where the other side was allowed to.. you know.. talk

A little side requirement - If you happen to have been born with white skin (even though you didn't have a say in it), you need to make sure to hate yourself... for your skin color. It's part of the deal or... your racist

He recently spent about a 15 minute segment with backhanded comments about Christians and how some menu item Chic-Fil-A was coming out with would be the most intolerant (insert menu item) of whatever it was.

Geoff is a wanna be CNN political opinionist self hating white guilt panderer. I not only completely stopped listening to GP and Calkins, I would be surprised if a lot of people turn the dial as soon as they start in with the virtue signaling.

Quit listening when the political chatter started. Use to listen to Caulkins when it was about sports, especially Tiger info, stopped listening when he became a CNN want to be. Parrish? Use to listen to him for Tiger BB recruiting updates, stopped listening to that self righteous a$$hole when he started spewing his political BS.

Instead of using this time to increase true investigative reporting and in depth interviews we are getting:

Mood theme music of the day,
Songs with moon in their name,
Songs with the word dance in their name,
Trivia games having nothing todo with sports,
Stories about cute things their kids say do,
Jason and John arguing like couples in a bad marriage,
Fill in your worthless non sports related topic here!
Lazy hosts that think their voices alone can carry the show.

Didn’t think I would ever miss George this much. At least he had an amazing recall of people, games and events he could conjure up.

I WANT TO PLAY!

Here is a link to the latest Nielsen ratings. Look under May 20 to see the most recent and you can also see the trends. WHBQ AM is under a 0.3. When I was GM there we had about an 11 share.

And you bought the propaganda from the other side. Don’t you guys get it. It’s all about power and control on both sides of the isle. Keep the rabble fighting and they won’t notice they’ve turned into sheep.

I really want to listen to local sports talk but the hosts truly make it impossible to do. It’s now totally political, as others have stated. Even Jason and John are unlistenable because it’s all race stuff all the time. They were really good before they took that slant.

Truth. They just have to continually insert their political bs into everything. I don't care to have LGBQT moments for example inserted into any sports conversstion or event. There are plenty of political shows and events to bring that up and anyone who wants to support whatever cause they feel compelled to can do it within those venues.

Sport should be just that - sport, entertainment.
