RE: Something good
Did not start a new thread but resurrected an old one. Give me some good news. Anyone have any? I want to hear some. I'm sure everyone would after today.

RE: Something good
I got a cat last week! She's super sweet and loves blankets. And also likes to nibble on me if I pet her too much. But mostly sweet.

RE: Something good
Both my boys started 2x/day soccer practice for their club team (FC Richmond), and my oldest (rising junior) is getting some college interest. I am excited for a return to what we consider normal and for our family to make smart college choices that allow the boys to do what they love AND be prepared for the future.

My wife and i have recently launched our llc for modernizing infrastructure and application stacks and their support. We only had two customers so far but we got it underway and that itself feels good.

2/day is insane. We max our at 3/week and are still just doung 2/week now.

ER, my youngest is U14 Magic and my oldest U17 Magic. Little guy playing in Williamsburg and my HS junior at River City most likely. As your son grows the physical training increases while the technical fades some. They have strict Manchester United drills and shuttle milestones to meet to end the 2x/day after the 2nd week. If they fail to do so, they get another week of "help" to get them there. And what we do is common amongst CCL clubs for the older kids, starting at U16. I assume your son is playing for Legacy? FC and Legacy run the Virginia Cup, but I have no idea yet for brackets for the tournament. CCL is a great league with a great Elite team v Elite team model. As your boy ages, don't hesitate to contact me about positioning for recruiting, etc. I have learned a lot in recent years.

Nah, we aren't doing Legacy. We did it one futsal season and my son didn't like it. Also too expensive and our team is better than the Legacy CCL team and they are not falling behind. Playing for Smithfield. We've pieced together a great crew and our coach played college and knows what he is doing. Just fell into a good situation. If he left we would probably go Legacy or TSA... but I have 2 other kids so traveling to Northern Virginia almost every weekend to play teams we see in tournaments anyway is a big burden for us.
