RE: Football update
They will proceed as if there will be a season, and hope for the best. You prepare for the best outcome. If that doesn't happen you punt. This is football after all.

TSSAA didn't do it. The governor did. He just extended his emergency order through August 29, which prohibits athletic team gatherings.

The potential consequences of one person driving to the store and allowing 40k people to gather during a pandemic are totally different things. If you can’t see that difference you are beyond hope.

It's outside. How is that different than these protests which were allowed? Also more & more evidence that cases are not correlating to hospitalizations & deaths. So what are the potential consequences?

Maybe canceling the season until after this election would actually be in the best long-term interest of everyone.

AND...your fatal car wreck does not spread, potentially causing hundreds or thousands of other fatal car wrecks. Again...if you can’t see the difference...

Why does everything have to be about race? It spreads at protests too.

One of my best friends lost her 13 year old son. He was almost 6' tall and weighed 150 lbs. he got sick and they put him in the hospital. He died less than 60 hours later... of the flu.

You can die of anything.

You sure can.

Anyway, there won't be a football season for us to watch this fall. Maybe in the spring.

RE: Football update
The release by the Rudd regarding placing political messages on our helmets is BS. The politicization of our program is indefensible. After 40 years of beinga fan, they can go to hell.

Putting MAGA on the helmets would be political, BLM is social as in our society is waking up, some are woke, some are snoozing, and some need to wear their cpap gear.
