Mike Leach in an abbreviated career and he was lethal out of the H Back slot. Double bonus for being a phenomenal punter.

Gottlieb was our 3! However, Bodnar and Leach stood out head and shoulders above everyone else.

Bodnar caught a lot of short passes and extended them with his ability to run after the catch. He was always open underneath, and with his size he could shield linebackers and safeties away from his body. Yagiello would either dump it off to him or Clemons if his receivers weren't open. They had a very potent offense during the mid 80s. It was probably the most entertaining offense in my memory. Of course we didn't play much defense back then so lots of high scoring games.
