in the last 5 years: steady improvement every year

in the last 3 years: 3 conference championships, 3 bowls, 1 bowl victory. win over a bcs team.

it's a decent resume - considering what is available to pick up.

obviously, this isn't my school - but even an outsider can see that if they were ever ready to try and move up - this would be their best chance.

I'll put Randy Moss against any secondary cover guy EVER to come from Texas.

Unlike my counterpart from TX, I don't want to get into a flame war by hurling insults. But the truth Hurts. Marshall, the former-1AA school from "lowly" West Virginia, has accomplished more in 7 years at the 1-A level than North Texas has done in 20 years. For one thing, Marshall hasn't had a losing season in 20 years.

Again, I find that when people can't use logic or facts to back up their argument, they usually resort to name calling and slander. It seems we've hit a nerve. And for what it's worth, I don't dispise North Texas. I just don't have any real reason to see them in CUSA. That's only my opinion. Other Herd fans may have some grudge against them. If so, I'm not sure why.

Just keep hurling pot shots at WV and all it does is make you look bad since you can't give real support for North Texas.
Honest question...I don't know: Is Marshall a 1 A school or ar a 1 AA school. Didn't NT play them in Div 1 AA playoffs years back ? (yes I know we lost but Iwon't get into fan and athlete conduct at that game)

[quote="MeanGreenGem"] [quote="Nugget's Ghost"] Can someone explain to me why these green meanies think they are something special in football? Seven winning seaons in the last twenty years is pitiful.
