Looking forward to driving down for this game. Probably will have to purchase a season ticket to attend if half-capacity.

Gives Louisville an extra day to prepare for Clemson, too.

I'll be damned, I would have expected it to be moved to the Thursday before our game with Mississippi State.

Wolfpack also gets an extra day to prepare.
See how generous the ACC is!

Thanks but I just bought a cheap-ish season ticket ($175) since P5 stadiums will likely be STH-ers only. I’ll just sell or giveaway the other games.

If season gets canceled...just defer payment to 2021 when Clemson visits. Win-win deal.

Thursday that week is Thurby. The move was done to make it easier for the NC State traveling party and fans to get rooms. Rooms are expensive Derby Week. They are almost impossible to get on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday that week.

It was also done because Churchill Downs is a block and a half from Cardinal Stadium. Churchill uses the parking lot at Cardinal Stadium for Thurby, Oaks Day and Derby Day.

If you come for the game and want to stay for the festivities, I recommend looking between Indianapolis and Louisville for rooms. Check Scottsburg, IN (30 miles from Louisville) and Seymour, IN (50 miles from Louisville) for a room. A little bit of a drive but it’s straight down 65, 3 or 4 lanes most of the way into Louisville.

If you’ve never been to the races at Church on Derby Week, you should check out Thurby. Thurby is Louisville’s day at the track. You’ll get to party like a local.

Now if we just get to have football and Derby... with fans.

If I can travel to Cuse@WMU in late September...hopefully you can join. Nothing is for sure right now. Covid, ticket restrictions and my own situation with a family member with a health issue.
