Some thought the video was hilarious and made a perfect point about how media outlets sometimes spin narratives for their own agenda, often at the expense of Trump. Others thought it was in poor taste. And then there's CNN's Jim Acosta, who accused President Trump of "exploiting" children.

As always, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany gave CNN a taste of their own medicine, reading Acosta a list of misleading headlines they've been wont to air. For example, the time the network ran a chyron suggesting that Trump called all illegal immigrants "animals," when he was specifically referring to vicious MS-13 gang members.

And speaking of "exploiting children," she reminded Acosta of the time that CNN targeted Covington Catholic high school students and accused them of harassing an elderly Native American protester, accusations which had huge impacts on their lives.

"He was making the point that CNN has regularly taken him out of context," McEnany said of Trump's tweet.

The president, she said, was making a "satirical point that was actually quite funny." But Acosta didn't get the joke.

I think it's time to knock off the pressers again. The MSM is never going to change. They're not looking for news. They're looking to exploit the opportunity to attack Trump.

Acosta is obviously a sexist who thought he deserved the right to talk over the press secretary. Isn’t everyone sick and tired of this guy’s Schtick? Time for him to rotate off the WH Press team.

I'd revoke acosta's press pass permanently. Tell CNN to send someone else.

Ehh. Just dont call on him. And if you must call on him, I remember a Clinton Administration press secretary, when responding to an embarrassing "gotcha question" that didnt deal with a pressing issue, saying something to the effect that "We are here to get important information to the public. I dont think thats a question that reflects the kind of important serious information the public is trying to learn. If I find the public is highly interested in that subject matter, we will address it at that time.

He's a masochist. Maybe he thinks she likes him or something. But he's like the energizer bunny - no matter what, he just keeps going and going and getting his azz handed to him.

There must be some type of person that CNN recognizes when they hire people. People who have no shame, who care not if they look like an idiot and who have no problem lying 24/7 and who can play the victim when called on their fake news. Stelter has that down to an art, funny and sad little cherub that he is.

They should have done this a looooonnnnnggggg time ago. These press conferences aren't meant to inform they're just opportunities for the MSM to think up "gotcha" questions. Especially, that stupid Abilio and his constant nagging. Why is he allowed more than two questions anyway. If I was conducting this press conferences I would advise, (warn) the press that they are allowed ONLY TWO questions and will be ignored if they press for more questions and I would make it a point to finger that stupid Abilio specifically.

I'm tire of it but I sure am glad that we have a press secretary that doesn't take any Shiff from them.

Kayleigh is becoming a superstar, best press secretary I can remember. Of course, getting warmed up each day by clubbing Acosta makes it easier.

She has to play defense first, something no dem press secretary needs to worry about. But she plays defense by going on offense and these brain dead 'reporters' still don't understand how/why she is so prepared for their ridiculous attacks and makes them look silly.

If/when she decides to leave as secretary, she needs to mentor the new press secretary and turn over her playbook. "THIS is how it's done."
