Interesting proposal that seems to be gaining some traction. If it was instituted for the 2022 school year the season would start March 18th instead of the middle of February, the conference tournaments would be June 22 to 26, the regionals would start July 1 with the championship series July 23-25. This would be a financial boon for the northern schools who would not have to spend the first month on the road.

Awesome idea, I hope it happens

This proposal drastically needs to be implemented to assist northern schools during the first month of the season. Travel costs could be substantially reduced, in addition to providing a much more equalized schedule. Scheduling would be made much easier, with northern schools no longer having to spend the first 4/5 weeks on the road traveling the southern and western states trying to find games.
