It seems likely that most schools will have a six week camp starting in mid-July.

Ths is going to get interesting as at least 6 schools already have athletes that have tested positive for covid.

If I was a betting man, the over under would be 3 students test positive. That is about average for the schools reporting. It will be interesting how many students and staff test positive after a couple of weeks.

I say just simulate the season on XBox, and have the division champs play a real 1 game championship at Ford Field. This could be done every season to keep everyone safe

Testing positive not an issue unless hospitalized. Most 18 -23 year old will have no problems. Actually good for herd immunity. Also testing positive does not mean they are contagious

It doesn't necessarily mean they are contagious but they could very well be. And if they are it doesn't matter if they're hospitalized or not.

Twitter has been full of freshman arriving on campus the last few days

I read that Iowa football players have already been doing voluntary workouts. Will be interesting to see how much more prepared players and programs are than others because they had more time on campus with each state is handling this pandemic differently.

Can they Zoom us some practice highlights. I need some sports in my life. I don’t care if they’re just running sprints at this point

Unless the player or staff revealed it themselves, we would not know because of HIPAA regulations.

NIU can announce how many players tested positive. They just can't give out the names. Many schools have announced their positive cases. Texas announced 13 players tested positive upon returning to campus.

Doubt they will be open and up front about this. Heard directly from a former athlete that NIU had three football players test positive. No names, no other details. Testing positive doesn't necessarily equate with anything other than having the symptoms.
