Twenty-something boys already think they're invincible during the best of times. Sometimes you have to listen to the experts who are thinking about the long term health consequences instead of the kids who can't think past the next week when making these types of decisions.

A lot of players, coaches, and now the Arkansas AD are following his lead. The narrative that these kids don't want to play is shot.

It's not their choice though, or even the AD. Their input is important, but it's up to the board and President who should be listening to health and state officials.

Just last week 5 people made a list of demands and the media acted like they were representing everyone. I respect you have a different take on all this, but be honest. The overwhelming super-majority of these kids want to play.

14 teams x 10 tests x 3 X ~$100/test...

Using the 10 swabs per test method that's minimum $42K/week across the conference...if no one tests positive. An addtional $1K for each that comes back positive, as you test each person in that test a second time (10 x $100) plus all the cardio stuff for the positives

Assume they play a 10 game schedule. If a student tests positive they will miss at minimum 3 games. If a player (who plays) tests positive after game 5, there is no extra season available.
