If this has been discussed previously, I apologize. I just noticed it really today looking at the IPF video.

Wait until the cancel mob comes since the blue and grey was supposed to signify the reunification of the union and confederacy.

It's only a matter of time, remember when you consider your reply, that the revolutionaries are not interested in reconciliation, only revenge.

I have a friend that is a history teacher, and he said all statues eventually come down.

When they do, we can always roll out those stupid black and white uniforms that look like a generic cereal box. Seriously though, if they are going w/ the blue & gray logo, make a concerted effort to use those colors in the uniforms and feature that logo on the helmet instead of those Cincinnati Bengals stripes.

I HATE...

1. White helmets
2. Helmets with stupid stripes on them
3. Helmets with 901 on them
4. Helmets with no logo on one side
5. White and black uniforms
6. Uniforms with no blue or gray

If the kids like them and it helps recruiting, wonderful. That doesn't mean that I have to like them. We have a beautiful colour scheme with blue and gray and we have a beautiful logo. Both should be part of every single uniform we wear.

I kinda liked the 86-87 white helmets. If I remember right, we had 2 helmets those years: white and navy with MSU on them. I was young, so I don't know if I'd feel the same way now, but I liked the white Seahawk helmets, too.

That said, I think my all time favorites were the Stobart metallic grey Dallas Cowboy helmets with the MSU leaping tiger logo.

Those and the navy ones from the 80s that said Tigers in cursive (I'm not sure what you'd call the font). A throwback of those but the royal blue w/ gray logo and facemask.

You have to remember when the Students chose Blue and Gray their aim was to unite the student body. There was maybe more division then than there is now, but Blue and Gray may have been easier to unite than Red and Blue unfortunately.

I will not wear that gaudy orange, I will not. It is not my color wheel and I'm not gonna wear it.

Even US Grant? Seems like no one can escape it. Columbus, Washington, Jefferson, Grant maybe even Andrew Jackson. Heck who knows...maybe even the color gray will be banned and cotton. Since some folks want to take down Confederate statues...I can tell them there are a bunch of them are....at Vicksburg, Gettysburg, Shiloh and Fredericksburg...to name a few. Seems like only the Union Army (my ancestors fought as volunteers in the Rhode Island Regiments of the Union Army) statues need to be up and those they fought against....those other Southern Americans who took an oath of allegiance to the US after the war....need to be torn down (NOT). They admitted they made a mistake but....they were born as US citizens and those that survived died as US citizens and even those who died fighting for the Confederacy were still considered US citizens since succession was never declared as legal.
