Good one. 04-cheers

It is just another blow to the tourism economy during this time of COVID-19...next year will be much better for everyone.

All D1 schools would need to agree to push all OOC games 1 year, or to just wipe out OOC contracts for this year penalty free.

What is magical about the conference that doesn’t transmit COVID? And why doesn’t it apply to OOC?

The best way to magically shorten a season by a few games is to eliminate OOC games.

That, plus it limits travel. In a budget crisis, schools will be looking at shorter trips to which they might bus.

Its not the chicken wings, it's the general disrespect for property.

The purpose of the game is a good payday for the schools.

Without fans it doesn't make sense. The game can be played on their own fields without fans and it would cost much less.

I am assuming their projected ticket sales warranted this decision.

That’s true... I see tons of garbage all over the area where the frats gather after each game (because that’s near where I park, not because the frats are any worse). We live in a world with people that think it’s OK to just throw stuff on the ground when they’re done with it.

Too true. I work at a local restaurant and it is a basic routine to pick up multiple bottles, fast food bags, cigar packaging, drink cups, and other trash every day when I get to work in the morning. It was one of the few things I didn't miss while we were shut down for 2 months for Covid.
