On top it sometimes a patient that is hearing auditory commands,etc. exhibits almost superhuman like strength. You can't imagine what it would be like to subdue someone of Mr Williams' physicality.

I hope there was some video of the incident that can be reviewed. It's a bit sketchy that the person who killed the two others is the one telling the story. A story which has already been changed.

Only about 50% of hospital security carry guns, less than that have tasers. Many healthcare facilities don't
allow security to carry.

I guess this begs the question... in a psych ward with individuals possibly prone to outbursts like this... potentially caused by a bad reaction to treatment that security protocol doesn’t require taser and other non-lethal forms of emergency restraint... this entire story wreaks of bad decisions that go far beyond this instance.
