All the season ticket holders in my section love it. The things people gripe about...

Not really. Last NFL game I attended, they used something very similar to it. I like the horn - move dem chains!

The siren I can live with or without. When the stadium is rocking and the cannons are firing, I don't even notice the siren.

Instead of sirens, maybe we have a recording of Elvis saying, "thank you, thank you very much." jk.

With the new speaker system, they could do a lot of cool alternatives. For goodness sakes, go to some big time NFL games and “borrow” some inspiration.

LOL. I can agree with that, but let's not be too hard on the "blue hairs". At least they get their azz's to the games. Our crowds are already pitiful, just think how bad it would be without those 10K old folks.

btw, that truck horn is fine after the first or second first down, but after three or four in a row it needs a rest.

The truck horns are sponsored by TAG Truck Center, so it does make a little sense to have them. Good Tiger supporters, good company. Give them a little latitude.

Sirens, meh.

Well, success on the football field leads to petty complaints. When Larry Porter was our coach, fans complained "wish we could line up in the right formation so that we don't get a penalty" or "I wish that we could win a game every now and then".

Fast forward to now, with a 12 win season behind us. Now people want to complain about the sound effects at the LB. I suppose that folks are always going to complain about something.

I heard on CNN that the sirens propogate/spread covid and the truck horn promotes hate because it's a horn predating the Equal Rights Amendment.

Now I'm going back to the Cisse post in Recruiting to see all the new Cisse info.

I hated the truck horn at first.......but it's grown on me. Being a band nerd, I missed the 1st down diddy that used to be played.....but the team snaps the ball so fast now, they wouldn't have time anyways.

If you take my truck horn, we riot..."peacefully demonstrate".

We could combine the traditions of OU and UT with a Memphis flare. They have the Boomer Scooner and the firing of the cannon after TDs. We could go full fledged Memphis and have a mini car driving around the field doing a drive by firing blanks out the passenger window.

Like the folks who've been rioting, looting, and committing arson around the country the last 3 weeks or the Chazmanian devils in Seattle. Could give them each a million and they would complain that they needed 2M

Truck horn is awesome. Plus, it makes us money.

Now, who do I have to pay to get Bush back as the 3rd down song?
