Looks like Penny is chasing after another shooter for the class of 2021. Would certainly fill a need.

Georgia Tech: “I can come in and have the ball in my hands from the jump playing 30+ minutes a game and I’ll be allowed to play through my mistakes,” he said.

And if it doesnt work out that.. Pastner is getting fired the moment its financially feasible anyway so will probably have a good case for waiver.

If Penny can get a couple more guards into the NBA, it’ll really help separate him from the pack.

Memphis: “Just that I fit in well with them,” he said. “Especially with how they develop players and then the playing style that they play in. It’s similar to the style that I’m running in now in high school. They said it would be an easy transition.”

Louisville: .......“Also similar thing, their playing style is similar to what I’m playing in now so I’m used to that as well.”

These 2 teams could not be more different. Their styles are complete opposites.

Sounds like he's been talking to Chris Crawford, but hasn't touched base with Joe Jackson.

I think what he says is a slap in the face of the current players...

Never understood why recruits would do that.

Exactly. If I was a guard at GaTech. I'd call the coach up and say, excuse me, what did you tell Dallan? Should we transfer right now?

Is it wrong that I am glad Coach Pastner is gone, yet I root for him in every recruiting battle and in every game he coaches in?

Nah, it’s not wrong. I’ve always said if you promote someone for a job they’re not ready for then you share the blame when they fail. I’m talking to you, RCJ.
