My favorite Rocket of all time partially because I went to Waite and I went to school but did not know well 2 of his uncles Grady and Duane Thames. Duane played in that 1974 championship game mentioned in that article.

Great to hear he is doing well and helping others.

During my high school days, I had the honor of playing against Craig Thames and Jim Jackson......as well as Jay Larranaga, during his early years at St John's when he was splitting time between JV and Varsity.
