AP - HOUSTON — The University of Houston is suspending all voluntary workouts for its athletes after six tested positive for coronavirus with symptoms.

Houston announced it was shutting down workouts due to “an abundance of caution” and an increase of positive tests in the greater Houston area over the last week.

The school said the athletes, who were not identified, have been placed in isolation and medical staff is conducting contact-tracing procedures.

I wonder if there's been any contact tracing.

I am thinking on how this may future impact the AAC with the upcoming season, especially since we have a scheduled game at Tulsa early on ...

It's the democrats who have infiltrated Houston's campus and are trying to disrupt the economy through college sports being cancelled. Anybody in their right mind knows Covid is a hoax and ANTIFA were on the testing team and effected the results. They just need to call a MAGA local chapter to escort the team to each workout. there's going to be constant COVID issues this fall. we may have some sports, but they won't be normal. the country still is a patchwork of policies and there are still plenty of irresponsible people with the selfishness to think wearing a mask is unfair to them. sports require travel and most of the country is a big continent with unrestricted travel and trade meaning the virus will keep moving around until there is a vaccine. it's a tricky contagion and requires excellent leadership to control, something we are generally lacking.
