It's official Jacksonville will be the sight of the RNC. Charlotte will get one day of RNC events and is threatening to sue the RNC for breach of contract, ironically I think the RNC has a better case for breach of contract.

Im actually glad its gone from NC. Id hate to see Charlotte burned to the ground by Antifi and BLM thugs.

I don't consider Jacksonville as South GA... as someone who lived in South GA, Jacksonville is too fancy. In Jacksonville, you have more grocery options than the local IGA or Harvey's. You have big box stores other than Walmart. You get more than country music stations on the radio (not saying I don't like country music). You don't need satellite internet 10 minutes from town. Your cable isn't a municipal utility. Most restaurants aren't closed randomly 2-3 days a week. You have breweries. You have delivery food options.
