The NCAA has given some relief to baseball.


* 35-man roster cap lifted. No limitation.

* Annual counter has increased from 27 to 32

* The 25% scholarship minimum eliminated for a year.

I already posted in the COVID-19 impact thread. Unfortunately, the NCAA rejected the one-year 11.7 scholarship relief (with the request being 13.7 scholarships allowed next season only).

The California Collegiate League (wooden bat) has officially cancelled the 2020 season. Many Rice players have come to California in the past.
