RE: where were you???
September 22nd has been a good day for the Monarchs.

This also happened on 9/22 (in 2012):

Man, I really miss that air raid type offense. Heinicke was just so smooth and accurate. Nothing phased him and he had sixth sense to know when to bail out and scramble. I hope we can see QB play like that again.

9/22/12 the day I learned my earlobes could sunburn and blister COGS I skipped out on my cousins wedding and raced back to Norfolk to watch the game and was regretting my action at half time. The 2nd half was worth the family torment. 04-cheers

What a great game and the Smitty crew was there to the end. Heinicke was just special, as were his receivers.

The two best games in ODU football history -- and yeah, I was there for both of them! Appears it is an every six years kind of thing. So, mark your calendars. The next one is due 9/21/2024. I'll be pushing 80, but God willing, I'll be there!

Cheers, all!

Was at both, what great games. One of our tailgater group, bought his dad who's a WVU season ticket holder to the TH game. He couldn't stop talking about him or our lack of defense...LOL.

There were three in our tailgate group who sold their VaTech Tix. I'll never let them forget they missed a great game and ODU's first upset over a ranked team.

I remember listening to the 2012 game while cutting my grass. I believe the W&M game was the next week? I went to that game. My first look at TH.

Fortunate enough to attend the 2018 game...
