Quarterback Grayson James (6-3, 220) of Duncanville (Texas) High School announced via Twitter June 5 he was offered a scholarship by Central Michigan.

A consensus 3-star recruit in the 2021 class, James also reports scholarship offers from Miami, UAB, San Jose State, Texas State, ULM, Liberty, Illinois State, William & Mary, Columbia and Dartmouth.

BW, do we actually have a chance with any of these people being offered? I was hoping we'd get a QB commit when we had the run on commits over the past few weeks, but no luck. Seems like some of the top targets have gone elsewhere and we're moving down the line with these offers.

Yes, I believe we do, likely Taylen Green or Grayson James. The tape on each of them looks very good.

I'm very impressed with Kopp, too, but he was just offered by Houston so it'll be tough to beat out the hometown school.
