RIP, Johnny Majors

RE: RIP, Johnny Majors
The man goes 116-62-8 over 16 seasons at Tennessee and gets run off after heart surgery and an 8-3 season with Fulmer's interference at season's end. I don't feel sorry for Fulmer being run out of Dodge now as a coach and I also see why Tennessee is a failure under him as AD now. Majors could not repeat the magic with a National Championship on his return to Pitt. He went 12 and 32 upon his return and finished his career there at 45-45-1 overall as a head coach with both coaching stints. Pitt showed far more class in the treatment of this man then Tennessee offering him a job as Special Assistant to the AD and Chancellor 1996 when he stepped down from coaching until his final retirement in in 2007. God Bless Him. 04-cheers
