This is a recruiting blow, because Coach Miller was in on a lot of good players. I wonder what this does for Mason's recruitment? And can Coach Hardaway hire an assistant that can recruit on a high level or at least be a sharp X's and O's coach?

we lost murrell to
the staff really wanted both from what i was told
stud was recruited away by the nba dev league

we missed on everyone this year, so mike in all fairness had one good year and penny had one great year

Missing this year is not a big deal, penny is learning the game. Im convinced he will do great, not sure we will miss mike because I expect Penny to bring in someone really good - don't know who

I think by year five, penny will average 1.5 five star players a year and 3 four star players - just a guess

Before Vandy scooped up Faragi Phillips, I thought we would one day have him as an assistant to Penny. Is he now out? Is it possible Penny brings him?

Does Moussa Cisse's dad/stepdad/cousin need a job as an Asst Coach?

Any way this works in Memphis’ favor? Mike likes Memphis the city and the university. Mike is known all through the AAU hierarchy. Mike is not an employee of the university and is free to talk to kids. Kids that are close to Mike have a potential agent when they leave school.
