Wait....I thought we were told that UNC HAD to play in Atlanta every other year because of their massive alumni base there.

And we've always been told how awesome of a traveling fanbase that NC State has.

And both were outdrawn by the smallest school in the Power Five?

Wake is helped somewhat by that middle game: that was 2009 and that game against Wake was "win and clinch the ACC Coastal". Wake is somewhat overinflated from where they should be. Having said that, they aren't far behind UNC/NCST.

There are always a lot of Carolina fans in attendance when the Heels play in Atlanta. I guess Carolina doesn't inspire the GT faithful to show up in numbers to cheer on the Jackets.
Maybe they really do want to go back to the SEC where is visitors can fill up their stadium for them.

I love how Kap revels in the attendance of a Thursday night game in Atlanta, in late November between two teams with losing records. The level of insecurity is amazing.

It's almost as embarrassing as the attendance of a season opening game in Atlanta or Charlotte, but not quite.

Neither is as embarrassing as the road attendance of a road game where the road team was 5-0 and ranked in the top 20 facing a top 5 team.
