Changes from across the Street
CUSA reducing the number of participants in its Men's and Women's Basketball tournaments to 8 and is reducing the number of regular season games in Olympic Sports.

There will probably be more changes as well.

I wouldn't be too surprised that we also lower the number of regular season games in non-revenue sports which will then give us more opportunity to schedule closer OOC games.

I think doing away with the tournament is the best option we will and always will be a one-bid league why not send the best team to the tournament... gives you the best shot of an upset

Idk about that. Does anyone think Little Rock was the best team? Didnt they kind of limp to the finish?

I guess I was just really impressed with the atmosphere we had for our quarterfinal game vs app.

I think USA and TXST were the two best teams at the end of the season. It’s unfortunate we will not see that rematch, or see who would’ve won the tournament.

I can't believe Georgia Southern's basketball program is/was at a point to say this, but Southern was ready to make some noise. Not saying we were the best team or would have won it, but the guys seemed to have that tournament spark to them.

You were gift wrapped your last win, most tournament runs needs some luck along the way, but with the way the Cajuns lost to you, im not sure it was more about you than us. In the end who knows, what ya'll would have done, I just know we let that one get away from us.

No our last win was a dominant performance against GaSt in their house. GS was looking good and a had a shot.
We are excited about next season to see what the new coach and players will bring.
