Making the new wouldbe onside kick rule comparable to the old rule
The NFL had proposed replacing the on-side kick with the kicking team retaining possession, BUT facing 4th & 15. My question is: when they were allowed a running start, what was the conversion rate, and what 4th down distance was similar conversion rate?
