No transfer. The incoming Freshman catcher played for the Banditos traveling squad. We also have highly regarded catchers committed for both the 2021 and 2022 classes.

My bad. The guy I was thinking of is the Bandito's Manny Garza, who was the #4th ranked catcher in Texas last year....but he's a 2021 commit; not 2020. We have to wait another year for him. This means the catcher spot is pretty much locked in for Collins in 2021, with Benitez as backup.
