I assume the 12 games is a misspeak, no? As there’s only 11 in a normal FCS season.

I heard 12 as well. I believe it was a misspeak. Maybe he was thinking of last season

That's an understatement. I would say wishful thinking. If it wasn't football, normal thinking would just cancel sports in the fall as was done in the spring. Of course, now we are talking about money and not health and safety concerns.
