Sizable % of CSNBBS readers expect AAC to be affected by realignment by 2026
The FBS conferences that are considered most likely to be affected by realignment by 2026 are the Big 12, C-USA, and the AAC.

Or why did he need to replicate it across multiple boards?

I did it to see how the C-USA and Big 12 fans would respond.

It's not bad for CSNBBS site as a whole.

I did it to stir up more interest in the poll.

It has succeeded - - quite a number more responses.

RE: Sizable % of CSNBBS readers expect AAC to be affected by realignment by 2026
The point of bringing this to people's attention here is that a considerable percentage of college sports fans - - not just AAC fans - - think that the AAC is among the conferences most likely to be affected by realignment by 2026.

Since the AAC has shown a reluctance to even replace UConn, what this would probably mean would be the AAC losing teams to a P5 conference.

Why is that a mystery, when a majority of teams in this conference has tried to leave at one time or another?

Right. The fact that the Aresco himself has openly stated in interviews that every member of the conference would leave for the Big XII if they could isn't enough.

For the record, the conference hasn't shown a 'reluctance to replace UConn' - there are no good options. Heck, it's the one point we all agree on. So they are actually being smart about it and waiting to see if we get better options.

The B12 is unlikely to expand, TV does not want it nor want to pay for it. I don't expect any major changes. AAC may add one, but that isn't even likely.

I'd like to thank Jed for his energy and enthusiasm with AAC postings and thread-startings.

Let's be classy, folks, with our word choice and tone.

Does realignment pertain to a conference dropping down a Division (howdy doody MAC!)

Absolutely, AAC will add a 12th member.
