Wow. That was fast. I was looking forward to see her play. I wonder if she wil be given a chance with another team.

The WNBA is having some really crappy waiver rules because of the Covid 19 situation. Basically, the WNBA teams are being forced to cut their rosters to 12 before practice even begins so they can guarantee paying the final 12-player rosters (that's even assuming they have a season).

It would have been a longshot for Erica to make the Minnesota 12-player roster, but it would have been nice if she could have gone to a player camp like the normal schedule entails. At least she can always say that she was drafted. And perhaps it's time now for her to begin pursuing her medical career?

Erica confirms that she is going to medical school (Southwestern), but will also continue training for the 2021 Olympics and possible future WNBA seasons.
