We won more games last year than Arkansuck has won in the last 3 years. We won more games last year than Purdue has won in the last 2 years. We are a buy game for both of them.

Disgusting.

While you are right...They have the money and the ability to call that shot. We need them much more than they need us.

But a 2 for 1 without a check is much worse than a what he described.

We don’t need either. We’ve done just fine without Arkansas or Purdue on our schedule.
Your half right. Beating a p5 gets you some respect but those two schools will do nothing for getting the respect required to be considered on par with the big boys

But I think that money will really help the program. Nothing like getting paid to win

Just saw where South Alabama signed a home and home with Ole Miss. wow.
Can’t believe the best we could manage is a 2-1 against the doormats of the SEC.

It’s not a 2 for 1. It’s a home and home and a pay game.

If that makes you feel better then so be it. We get to continue to play the role of poor little brother begging for their money a patronizing pat on the back.

The tiny tiny group that is arguing semantics doesn't seem to understand that a buy game is just as bad as a 2 for 1. Money is money, but we are playing 2 road games and 1 game at home.

Maybe one of the ‘away’ games will be in Little Rock. Those were some fun away games in the 90’s. Even though UA has been trying to get out of the Little Rock games, I believe they still have to play a game or two there every season.

Not arguing anything. Simply stating the facts. I don’t like it, but the 3rd game is a buy game. It is what it is.

normally I'd say I don't wanna play an SEC team....UT and Ole Prius come to mind with their high falutin attitudes looking down their skinny noses at us.
But I can put up with Suckinsas.

RE: Memphis vs. Arkansas Football
Back when FSU was buying a lot of games and playing 10 games a year in Florida, it worked out great for them the win totals improved and they ended up getting out of Metro Conference and into the AAC (after wisely at the time turning down the SEC). These day that model wouldn't work even if we could afford it and scheduled MTSU, Austen Peay, and the urnge. I think the model to move up now may just be to take buy games from P5 colleges and beat them. I may take longer but it just might work, and you have to beat them many more times than not.
