Kundarrius Taylor Transferring - Football
Out of Copiah Lincoln (Mississippi) via Ridgeway. Was the highest rated recruit in 2020 class. Had committed to Oklahoma out of high school originally.

Reading between the lines, if someone is removed from the team, especially a guy rated as highly as KT, then there were issues behind the scenes that we'll never know about.

Major blow to our WR core, was expecting big things out of him. Was supposed to fill the gap left by Antonio Gibson this year.

Link to the story?

I am reminded of a story I heard Tommy West tell about when he first came to Memphis. Rip confides with him that a particular player was always caught doing something wrong whenever Rip checked up on him. Rip asked Tommy what he should do.

Tommy says stop checking up on him.

I agree, but as others pointed out it sounds like there's more to the story that we may never know. On the flip side, we've found diamonds in the rough before and can do it again. Not to mention, don't we still have Coxie, Kedarian Jones, and Austin? I expect some big things from that group.

The Starling transfer makes sense. We'd need to get hit by the injury bug for him to get much playing time, especially with Gainwell.

Think Kedarian was a senior

I agree. He was very talented. He would have been dangerous. Oh well.

A good lesson in humility. Every sun rise levels the playing field.
