No argument there. Again I hope the building is half full or better all season All the excuses are going it’s time for Uab fails to show up All the excuses are gone it’s time for Uab fans to show up. As stated above it’s not unrealistic to expect an average of 6000 or more for the season. Absolutely no excuses.

I'm excited to see that front court. Jemison, Kirkland, Nicholson, Gordon..

Got some new shooters....Ertel, Rotegaard to complement Benjamin, Jackson and TSG.. and all these swings/wings....Ard, Toney, Lovan...

We have to be better than the last couple of years....

I can't freakin wait till November!

Let me just say I'm not expecting UAB to avg 6000 fans this upcoming season. Not saying it can't happen I'm just not expecting it. I think we're more likely to see 4500-5000 if we have a good season. I think there is a lot of work to be done to win back the general fan to UAB games. The first step is having a competitive and winning first season with a team that shows the potential to be a dominant CUSA program.

Id be happy with that number for this season.

Folks are still gonna be wary of COVID-19 especially if it comes back in early winter as most expect and also if college football gets extended as a result(potentially pulling some "after football season is over" fans away).

What is our "Plan B" if Andy Kennedy is not successful in rebuilding UAB Basketball to anticipated levels (according to stated beliefs here on BT)? I am hopeful that he will do for UAB basketball what FBHC Clark has done for UAB football, but we won't know that for a few seasons to come.

Probably a little early to consider Plan B.

I don’t think there is a plan B at this point, and there shouldn’t be. AK has infused more energy into the program than seen in a long time. Quite impressive considering what’s been going on around here.

Thats the type of question that caused me to permanently ignore that poster a year ago. Makes this board so much more enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

It appears we will know sooner than later. Based on everything he’s done up to this point, I don’t think he needs a few seasons to turn things around.

I think we will be significantly better next year, with some special potential if everybody gels quickly and Jemison is eligible.
