Statement from CMU AD Michael Alford
For those concerned about Central Michigan remaining FBS after it was announced the CMU Men's Track & Field program would be cut, linked below is a statement from CMU AD Michael Alford:

My hunch is the ultimate plan is to replace Men's Track & Field by bringing back the CMU Men's Golf program. With the CMU Women's Golf program already established and a new training facility built at Mt. Pleasant Country Club, this makes perfect sense.

FIRE UP CHIPS! :)
