That makes two guards that Texas Tech has lost ... The other is staying in the NBA draft.

So he’ll go to TT, get a waiver and be all big 12 while the fkn NCAA makes Nolley and Williams sit. I really loathe that corrupt organization

Or he'll choose Memphis and get ruled ineligible like the others.

TX Tech has 2 other transfers and the 9th ranked recruiting class (247 rank). They have some momentum.

He would have to play against tough defensive players in practice thus I think he would not have the confidence to compete. I think he knew that which is why he chose another school. Your opinion my vary.
Just curious. I like to think ballers want to play with ballers. Enables/allows them to perform at the highest level and reach their potential. I mean, I have no evidence but I like to think that.

Same as Nolley he played on a losing team regardless of conference. We were 21-10. Georgetown was 15-17 and VT was 16-16.
I just don't see these two being any better than the guys we have.
Ours guys get after it defensively. Do Nolley and Mac?
You must not have watched last year. Quinones was the only player (other than Precious) that scored in double figures (just over 10). The AAC isn’t a bad conference, buts it’s not the Big East. Mac averaged 15 plus last year, and 13 the year before. And he was getting a lot of defensive attention.
Our guards turned the ball over more than I’ve ever seen. Very little poise down the stretch. Mac would be our best guard...
Best OFFENSIVE guard...And that is arguable because our guards were freshmen.
Yeah he scored more points but he took many more shots as well (Volume shooter)
I think Q, Lomax, Baugh and Boogie are much better defenders...
He averaged 13 as a freshman in the Big East. We couldn’t score last year and was a big reason we weren’t going to make the tournament. Our guards couldn’t take care of the ball, and that was another reason we weren’t making the tournament. Precious was our only reliable scorer down the stretch last year. Quinones is the only Memphis player that has the potential to score like Mac. Again, starter day 1.
We didn't make the tournament because they didn't have one.
Wait....WHaaaaa I thought WE WON the 2020 tourney

You actually think he went away from Memphis because he was scared to practice against tough defensive guards... but opted to play in the Big 12 where his actual games will be against tougher defensive guards than the AAC? Wow, that's some Kentucky level ego soothing right there.

Averaged 17 in the Big East and transferred into the Big 12 but is scared of our practicing against our guards...
