A much needed discussion.

"...Some conservatives have called for FBI Director Christopher Wray to be fired. This would accomplish nothing, as the problem is not one man but an entire culture. One possible solution is to break up the FBI into four or five agencies, with one responsible for counterintelligence, one for counterterrorism, one for complex white-collar crime, one for cybercrimes, and so on. Such a reform would not end every abuse of federal law enforcement, and all these agencies would need to be kept on a short leash for the sake of civil liberties. It would, however, diminish the ostentatious pretension of the current FBI that they are the existential guardians of the republic. In a republic, the people and their elected leaders are the protectors of their liberties. No one else. "

Grennell pretty much cut off their balls today.

Multiple agencies probably wouldnt be the solution. Kicking the FBI out of intelligence would, which is basically what Grennell did today.

Yes to that. I was happy to hear that this morning. Get them back to their core mission (pre Obama).

There definitely needs to be change. They are rotten to the core. They have been covering up for their departed colleagues.

And why do we need 17 intelligence agencies??????

Here, here, that is a GREAT idea. Those clowns have gotten the power of the KGB and loved it. So much so that they conspired to oust the president because they didn't like him. The only difference is that if they were really in the USSR and they tried this they'd be in front of a firing squad. They knew that nothing would probably amount to any sentencing that's why they were so emboldened.

That place needs a very good antiseptic to clean it up.

Take there counter terrorism division away from them and give it to Homeland.

True, but dismantling the FBI would just reassign responsibilities to agencies that already exist. White collar crime could move to the FTC for instance.

Why do you think the effing virus is aimed at the elderly? Save the corporate crowd on pensions, save the insurance companies on end of life payouts for the aging Boomers globally (not just a U.S. deal) and eliminate the opposition who has effectively thwarted their sorry azzes for a century and 3 years.
