RE: WITH Nolley & Williams
Unless someone explains to Dandrige he has to jack up at least 3 terrible 3s a game he will not get playing time. It is a requirement to be a 5 on Penny's team. Doesnt matter how bad the shots are, or how it screws up your offense, all that matters is you must jack up 3s or you cant get minutes at the 5.

Lol.. Cisse aint turning down a $200-300K G-league contract to backup Dandridge. I absolutely love Dandridge's game but lottery picks dont back up guys who averaged 3 and 3 in the AAC

What contract?

I'm an MD fan. He won the Cincy game at Memphis. His rebounding, defense, his physical play inside and even his scoring gave us the edge. And we need that type game especially against Cincy & UH. No one else on the roster has provided that kind of game.

I think tk is working under the assumption that the GLeague will pursue Cisse under their new program once he's 18.

I mean, the only true centers we've had are Parks, Enoh, Wiseman, and MD. None of them attempted 3's in the offense.

Isaiah and Lance are not 5s on offense.

By his own admission, MD was only at about 85% at the end of last season. I look forward to seeing him at FULL strength. 04-cheers

Dorsey could run like a deer--very graceful and athletic ---MD more of a 1/2 court--set play kind of guy. Maybe because he was not at full strength . If he can run the floor like Dorsey....huge.

Well, he doesn't have the option for the G-league contract this year. So he would actually be turning down a senior year of HS to play for the Tigers, is all.

But I agree on your overall point. He would be starting day 1.

Yeah poorly written on my part - should have said he aint coming to Memphis period (this year or next) to backup Dandridge.

Yeah even if somehow Dandridge is a little better Cisse will still start. The optics on a 4 year guy starting over a one and done lottery guy look too bad in recruiting these days. Dandridge will have to thoroughly outplay Cisse to start over him.

Anyone that has seen MD play in HS knows how athletic and versatile he really is. When he gets back to full strength LOOK OUT! I truely believe the kid is a stud. He has size. He understands how to use his size on the low block. He's smooth enough to function on the high post too. He passes well. His shot needs practice (this is the easiest ump in college I believe - players get SO many more reps in college). His defense is phenomenal. He can body well. And he excels as a help defender, as a shot blocker.

If you doubt him now, you'll regret it later. JMHO.

You could see flashes of it. Aside from the injury; the missed practice time and repetition were equally important.

Without a doubt. Biggest factor for me: will his knee ever bee the same. Some players get knee-sels and never again fire on all cylinders.
