I thought Dedric was a very good college player. I don't think I can recall him dunking. It was as if he could barely jump.

To name an event after him seems a bit over-the-top for a player who never made it in the league. Penny, EP, Thad - I understand. Dedric? whatever.

Saw above he's/was in the G-league. Suppose that means he wasn't drafted. And to think that's the supposed logical of him going to Ks. Grass isn't always greener, as the saying goes.
