Michigan DB Commits to CMU
Defensive back Elijah Rikard (6-1, 190) of the University of Detroit Jesuit High School announced his commitment to Central Michigan this afternoon via Twitter.

A consensus 3-star recruit rated among the top 50 prospects in the state of Michigan's 2021 class, Rikard reported 13 scholarship offers, but on May 4 narrowed his list of schools he was considering to seven.

Rikard ultimately chose the Chippewas over reported offers from Temple, Akron, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan. His other six reported offers were from Ball State, Miami, Kent State, Eastern Illinois, Western Illinois and Morgan State.

He becomes the 11th known commitment in CMU's 2021 recruiting class.

FIRE UP CHIPS! :)
