Would you have the exact same opinion if it was a Dem senator accused of the exact same fact pattern in a state with a GOP governor?

Dude's nothing but a troll. I would not look for any substantive response.

I've read his posts enough to know that while he does do some trolling he makes serious posts. We don't agree politically on almost anything but that doesn't mean we can't have a serious discussion on the topic. I'm actually just legit curious if he thinks there's no crime committed here or if this is just a political calculation of not wanting to hurt his "team"? There's nothing wrong with making those types of calculations, because with the 2 party system it is a zero sum game.

He'd spank the hell out of Tommie in any honest debate, primarily because Tommie is incapable of honest and objective discourse. One needs to present a serious and rational argument if one expects to be taken seriously and responded to in the same manner. Shere just knows that any attempt at doing so with Tommie is futile so why bother trying.

Red Team or Blue Team, should be treated equally if the crime can be proven.

The hard thing here is going to be proving that the trades were based on insider information. At the time there were all sorts of rumors floating around about millions of deaths, and lots of people were bailing out. The timing looks bad, right after a briefing, but it's still going to be hard to prove.

I agree, along with the rest of them who were in on this.

Mentioning Loeffler seemed ridiculous. She is the wealthiest in the Senate and her husband owns a stock exchange. He can't do that sort of stuff. Plus the trades were apparently pretty typical for them.

Dude...you seriously think rich people would be above crimes to make themselves richer...simply out of a sense of duty to their job? C'mon man!
You are obviously too unfamiliar with corporate people. The trades were typical for her even if they would be huge for 99% of us. He is head of a stock exchange. He already HAS to have all kinds of barriers between him and his trades. They weren't done personally.

I'm voting for her and not for Collins who tried to take advantage of this. Which is bad of him, because he probably wins this regardless. Instead he provides fodder against her and bitterness against himself. Which is kind of typical of him.

What's exactly turned in their favor? Last I checked they're pretty scared about losing their majority.

Only if you believe Democrats who think they can read minds.

Burr just stepped down as head of intelligence committee pending the investigation.

Bad news for the Dems. Republicans get a serious head for that committee.

I'm not a fan of her either, but when I read about her "involvement" here when this first broke, she's got nothing at all to worry about.

Seconded when it's a Republican, not seconded and called a conspiracy theory when it's a democrat.

Ummm...dude. Everything I posted there was a fact. He was not confirmed and is due to be replaced as that position requires a senate approved individual. Additionally, Grennell is a trump republican. Not sure where I called a democrat a conspiracy theory in that post. Oops.

To rebut the poster I was directly replying to. Yes, out of context and by themselves, they have no real significance.

You’re all about a Republican receiving equal justice under the law, but when we know for a fact that someone from a list of democrats committed a felony, the investigation into who exactly it was is a “conspiracy theory”.

You’re a hypocrite.

There was an article in the Washington Times, a conservative paper, and even in it, they mention as an afterthought in the last paragraph that Feinstein has talked to the FBI.

That's why we can't have the 4 major networks all in one place. Its why we can't have 9 Supreme Court justices who went to Harvard or Yale and 8 of the 9 spending almost their whole life in the Acela corridor. Diversity is important. Its just that progressives don't understand that diversity should be judged by a person's mind and character, not the color of their skin.
