College Football's Early Top 50 Players for 2020

https://athlonsports.com/college-footbal...ayers-2020

50. Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Memphis

38. Shane Buechele, QB, SMU

Gainwell should be ranked better on that list.

Nebraska is a dumpster fire right now, Cincy should win this one.

Not sure if it’s being reported yet but sources say Kiffin is out at Ol Miss. I’ll be curious to see if it happens. Boosters are PISSED over his remarks about removing a statue on campus.

Yeah, I got half of Ole Miss's alumni base on Facebook and they ain't said anything, and I can't fine anything about it on the Ole Miss boards.

Trust me, if he can get the Rebels to the SEC championship game they'd let him build a Malcolm X statue in front of the Sigma Nu house.

Source I got it from was not one I have personally vetted. He did say that the school very quietly asked for his resignation, claimed to have inside knowledge. I don’t think there is much of a chance that my source is correct.

Congrats to the Mustangs. Considering Texas has the most D1 football teams in the nation, this is big for little ole SMU.

SMU quarterback Shane Buechele and wide receiver Reggie Roberson were named the best quarterback and wide receiver in Texas, according to Dave Campbell's Texas Football's All-Texas College Teams released this week.

Buechele and Roberson were named to the first team, joined by tight end Kylen Granson and offensive tackle Jaylon Thomas. The Mustangs led the way with first team offensive selections with four while no other team had more than two.

I told Gulfcoastgal I thought you all were moving towards a two P5 one at home type schedule. I felt like the Arkansas 2-1 was part of it, mostly just to get the ball rolling since your last AD had scheduled differently.

Looking at your future schedules

2021- Mississippi St
2023- Missouri
2025- Arkansas

You have a spot open in 2022 is full but has a FCS team and a North Texas game that appears to be flexible. You may have one more awkward scheduling run, maybe another 2-1? 2024 is pretty much wide open. WIth a little schedule flipping you could be set up pretty quick from 2021-2028/2029 with a p5 home game every year.
