That’s one version of the truth. Incomplete, still a version. It’s got a couple buts in it. That’s kind of like rain as a foreteller in literature. We all know the story. I choose to look at the complete story which includes numerous cases of recruiting highly rated players last year that he coached up to one of the top defenses in the country. To do that with mostly freshmen has been called by many as phenomenal. That covers recruiting and it covers coaching. And that’s far from blind faith which is what you apparently call an opinion different from yours.

Well in that case you would pass on most memphis kids. As long as I’ve been a fan the stories about families feeling entitled if Memphis kids stayed home (which most grow up wanting that). Radio and social media are simply reality.

Tom Bowen and Tubby Smith did not handle the Keelon situation well. Mom, dad and all four boys were Tiger fans.

Tom and Tubby worked for the UM. They were not the UM. They are gone for good and many reason. The Lawsons other than an immature parting of two young players in a bar who’s daddy had been mistreated have not spoken I’ll of the UM.

There is a 4th son who has always said he was interested in the Tigers. He wasn’t Penny’s first option but there is now a spot and the family has removed all obstacles for Jonathan to choose the Tigers.

Move on people. If the Lawsons can then only Penny’s opinion matters.

Very well stated! Last time I looked Penny is the coach, thus only his opinion matters, everyone else just throwing S#!+ against the wall.
