I’ve seen 3 or 4 football players enter the transfer portal this week. Anybody got information on this? Did we lose any starters for the upcoming year?

I have seen one, Rashard Revels--who was a rising sophomore and had a bright future, but we are very deep at his position. I hate to lose him but I don't think he would have been a starter this season.

Who are the others?

Also...I suspect this is probably pretty normal, as a school year ends, that some players would be looking to go someplace else. But before there was a "transfer portal," they just went quietly into the night.

Wasn’t he supposed to be the top rated juco wr? That’s disappointing. But, cest la vie.

Can you post a link to show which of our players have entered the transfer portal?

RaJae Johnson is who you are thinking of. He’s not in the portal as far as I can tell.

Yeah if he’s trying to transfer I don’t know where he will be able to play. Couldn’t make the field on a team that likes to throw it deep and needs receivers

I have seen 2. Revels and a Grad Transfer OL, but I don't think he was a starter

Ok. Thank you. I got the names confused.

Employers have been known to "encourage" employees to resign when they are at risk of being fired as that may look better on a resume - sort of like "irreconcilable differences" in a divorce action. It may be that the transfer portal functions in the same "face saving" fashion for players who are informed they do not fit in with a new coach's plans for next season.
